Lucas F. Webster
Associate, Huddles Jones Sorteberg & Dachille pc

Mr. Webster joined the Firm in 2005 as an associate. His practice focuses on Construction litigation for both private and public projects in Maryland, the District of Columbia and Virginia. He is licensed to practice before the state and Federal courts of all three jurisdictions and does so routinely, in addition to maintaining a significant practice with the alternative dispute resolution methods of mediation and arbitration.

Mr. Webster has significant experience in a variety of construction matters, ranging from contract negotiation through and including dispute resolution. He represents a variety of entities at all levels of the commercial construction industry, ranging from equipment suppliers and vendors, specialty trade subcontractors, heavy construction subcontractors, general contractors and owners. Mr. Webster has supported clients on private, local government/municipality, state government, and Federal government construction projects.

Mr. Webster has successfully prosecuted and defended mechanic’s lien actions, payment and performance bond claims, breach of contract actions, breach of warranty claims, delay and inefficiency claims, contract terminations and other matters. He has successfully recovered millions of dollars for clients, and believes that every case can be economically handled, regardless of the amount in controversy.

Prior to joining Huddles, Jones, Sorteberg and Dachille, Mr. Webster was an associate attorney at a suburban Maryland litigation firm where he represented clients in commercial contract and construction disputes. He also has several years of experience with insurance related matters, including both third-party liability and first-party coverage litigation.
