Mr. Webster joined the Firm in 2005 as an associate and was elevated to partner in 2010. His practice focuses on Construction litigation for both private and public projects in Maryland, the District of Columbia and Virginia. He is licensed to practice before the state and Federal courts of all three jurisdictions and also maintains a significant practice with the alternative dispute resolution methods of mediation and arbitration.
Mr. Webster has significant experience in a variety of construction matters, ranging from contract negotiation through final payment and all points in between. He represents entities at all levels of the commercial construction industry, ranging from equipment suppliers and vendors, specialty trade subcontractors, heavy construction subcontractors, general contractors and owners. Mr. Webster has supported clients on private, local government/municipality, state government, and Federal government construction projects.
Mr. Webster has successfully prosecuted and defended bid protests, mechanic’s lien actions, payment and performance bond claims, breach of contract actions, breach of warranty claims, delay and inefficiency claims, contract terminations and other matters. He has recovered millions of dollars for clients, and believes that every case can be economically handled, regardless of the amount in controversy. Prior to joining Huddles, Jones, Sorteberg and Campbell, PC Mr. Webster was an associate attorney at a suburban Maryland litigation firm where he represented clients in commercial contract and construction disputes. He also has several years of experience with insurance related matters, including both third-party liability and first-party coverage litigation.
