Kenneth Sorteberg is both a construction attorney and a civil engineer. He has extensive construction management experience, including his tenure with The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company from 1985-1991. Mr. Sorteberg was with the Maryland Stadium Authority in 1991-1992, during the construction of Oriole Park at Camden Yards.
Mr. Sorteberg is a principal with Huddles Jones Sorteberg & Campbell and has been with the firm since its inception in 1995. Mr. Sorteberg concentrates his practice in the areas of construction law/litigation and government contract law.
He serves as Mediator and as Arbitrator of construction disputes on the roster of neutrals for the American Arbitration Association and as appointed Mediator for several Circuit Courts of Maryland.
Mr. Sorteberg holds memberships with the Associated Builders & Contractors, the Building Congress & Exchange, and the American Society of Civil Engineers. He conducts construction law and contract seminars, publishes articles in construction industry journals and lobbies for legislative change on behalf of the construction industry.
